What Happens When You Request Data Deletion?

When a verified deletion request is submitted:

All associated personal data—including profile details, contact information, saved addresses, order history, and service records—will be removed from our active systems

How to Request Data Deletion

Send an email to:

Subject: Data Deletion Request – Scrappy Account

Include:

Your registered mobile number
Name (as per your Scrappy profile)
A short confirmation: “I request permanent deletion of my Scrappy account and associated personal data.”

Verification Process

For security, we may contact you to verify your request.
Once verified, deletion will be completed within 7–15 working days

Data We Cannot Delete

Some data may continue to be stored for:

Government, tax, or statutory compliance
Fraud detection or misuse prevention
Transaction verification and audit logs
This is required under Indian IT rules and industry norms.
Such retained data will not be used for any other purpose.
